This Wallingford CT homeowner came to us for a deck replacement. His existing deck was about 8 feet off the ground and he used the area underneath for storage. He requested a concrete pad and for the deck to be sloped slightly for drainage. He was also interested in a product that would be watertight. Of course our remodeling company was up to the challenge! We found a company called Nexan Building Products that sold LockDry decking material. As the name implies, it locks together to create a gapless deck. If there is any water that does seep down, it gets collected in the continuous gutter and runs off to the side. In addition, we used their cable rail system so the homeowners would have a clear view of their backyard. They were thrilled with the results and we were too!
