We met with this Wallingford homeowner about her ideas for a kitchen remodel. Bencar Building Systems has a well thought and tested process for working with homeowners before, during, and after their project and were were excited about meeting with her.
Her main issue was an alcove in the kitchen with upper and lower cabinets. She wanted them removed and have shelves installed with double doors to hide everything from the kitchen. In discussing the project, Mark recommended swapping the refrigerator with pantry space for a more centrally located pantry.
Her wish list also included a heated floor, recessed lighting, installing crown molding, painting the woodwork white and keeping her cabinets and painting them gray. We sent her shopping to Bender Showroom in New Haven where she selected her flooring, wall tile and fixtures.
We received all the pricing for the materials and from our trade partners and once we presented the proposal and sat and discussed it with her, we were ready to start!
We moved the refrigerator to the left, created a pantry, and re-used one of the lower cabinets to create a coffee bar and installed shelving above for the microwave. She was so happy to get those off her counter!
She was so happy to have a new kitchen and can't believe how incredible it looks.
