We received a call from North Branford CT homeowners to remodel their kitchen. Their home is a raised ranch and they wanted to take out the wall between the kitchen and living room to allow for a large island and open up the space. They found our remodeling company by doing a google search and viewing our website.
We met with them to talk about the project and to get their ideas. We met there again with our Bender kitchen designer to measure the room so he could take everyone's ideas and turn them into drawings. They were able to add a large island with plenty of storage space in it to replace the utility cabinets being eliminated. They also moved the sink to a corner and eliminated a window that looked into the sun room. The cabinets they selected were Siteline cabinets with a Swanson door in Titanium with black glaze. The countertops are granite in Luna Pearl. The back splash selected was a Gazzini Glamstone in white 4x12 tiles. They really did a great job in their selections! The cabinets include wide drawers with pullouts, double trash can cabinet and a cute corner unit at the sun room door so they don't have to avoid a sharp corner! The kitchen is so warm and inviting. The homeowners said they had family over for the holidays and everyone was able to move around and socialize much better than in the past - and they all loved the kitchen.
