This couple in Shelton Connecticut came to us through a referral from a relative in Wallingford. They were interested in a kitchen remodel that would include removing walls and moving windows. It was a good-sized understanding but Bencar Building Systems is always up to a kitchen remodeling challenge!
After meeting with them, we sent our notes, measurements, and pictures to our kitchen designer, Daryl Zorn, at Bender Showroom in New Haven. He created an outstanding design, and they loved it! From there, we received pricing from our plumber, electrician, and tile installer. They wanted to use the same floor tile installed several years ago and the kitchen flowed directly into the family room. Our tile installer wove the new into the old and worked carefully to preserve the heat in the old and connect it to the new floor.
Once the building permit was approved, we gave the project a start date and supplied everyone with a schedule. If there is a conflict our trade partners call and we can work around the conflict. It is great having such dedicated people to work with!
The project progressed smoothly from the demolition, the window installation, cabinet installation, and finish work. Our tile installer finished off the project with the tile backsplash!
The homeowners were thrilled with the results, and it was a pleasure putting their vision in place, giving them more space to spend time with their family and friends!
