We were contacted by longtime Wallingford homeowners to remodel their 40 year old bathroom. It was very well maintained but needed an update. They contacted our remodeling experts because of our reputation.
We met with them, explained our Remodel Process, took notes and pictures of their bathroom. We went through the items that were going to be replaced and gave them a checklist along with our vendors information. They make appointments with the salespeople to make selections that would become part of our proposal for the bathroom remodel. As we suggested, they brought pictures with them to help themselves and the salesperson in the selection process. They did a great job and made very thoughtful and appropriate selections.
Once the proposal was complete we met with them to review the proposal. They were very receptive to it and we left it to them to make a decision - they said yes!
In preparation for the job, we contacted the vendors and ordered the fixtures and tile; had the tile installer make a home visit to field measure; and put together a project schedule so everyone involved would know what was going on when we started.
Bencar Building Systems has two teams with two people in each team. They get a folder with all the information they need on the project - schedule, fixtures and tile list and what subcontractors will be working on it. It's very well coordinated. We do all the demo, sheetrock/taping and painting on our jobs so clients see the same faces throughout the project. Two and a half weeks later they had a beautiful new bathroom.
