This Wolcott homeowner has lived in her home for 20 years and had some great ideas for her kitchen remodel. She contact Bencar Building Systems after some online research and based on our powerful reviews, she gave us a call.
We met with her and although we couldn't completely open up the space between the kitchen and living room to add an island, we were able to open the entry to the kitchen and created a more pleasing workspace. Daryl Zorn at Bender Showroom completed the layout for her approval and all selections were made at their showroom in New Haven. Some of the work included moving the door to the sunroom, shifting the window over the sink, and enlarging the window in the dining area.
She selected Fabuwood Cabinets with a Nexus door style in frost and weathered nickel finish for her hardware. The countertop is Sapphire Blue granite. The final step was her backsplash using eastern white marble tile in 4" hex honed. She pulled it all together with a Sherwin Williams paint called Requisite Gray.
We installed hardwood Flooring in the kitchen and the sanding, stain, and finishing was completed by Neal's Flooring in Branford CT. We visited her recently and she is in love with the results!
